We take every opportunity available to share our experiences with others. We help support programs all over the city that advance science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education by attending conferences, rallies, showcases, and 'Engineering Day' outreach activities throughout the city, state, and nation. We attend district events and sports games to show off our robot and recruit new members. We have even inspired our district to start a STEM program with opportunities for college engineering credit. We mentor FLL, GEAR, and EARLY elementary students. We also help FTC and BotBall middle school teams. We volunteer at tournaments for GEAR, BotBall, EARLY, FTC, and FRC. We help run summer programs that introduce students to fun and exciting engineering projects. We perform community service with Habitat for Humanity and the San Antonio Rock-n-Roll Marathon. Because we tell everyone we meet about what being a part of FIRST does for us, we've been showcased and praised by local television news and newspaper articles. We even made a robotics commercial with our education partner, Northwest Vista College Texas Institute for Educational Robotics. We are eager and dedicated to sharing the FIRST ideals that we learn and live every day.
