Competitive Technologies
The current state-of-the-art in our field of invention is high impact digital
interactive multimedia type exhibits. Additionally, our exhibit will be competing
against the vastness of the internet and the world wide web of resources which
likewise are becoming more interactive and use computer animations. Our competitive
advantage is that while we are making use of those same types of resources, the
robotterfly will provide a hands-on experience that cannot be matched by the
computer alone.
Related technologies would include those of ‘HMC
INTERACTIVE GROUP’and that of ‘YDREAMS’.
Another company is selling something similar, though much simpler than what we
are trying to
build. Their
product is called ‘Wings in Motion’ by ‘WINGS
IN MOTION HOME
DECORATING’. Their butterflies
are much too small and all they are only capable of doing is flap their wings.
One can clip them onto the stem of a flower or plant, if desired.
