LOG ENTRIES

We are planning to split into two groups one for camera, and one for drive. Now that Chris may no longer be with us we are left with 4 members. Billy Frees, Kristen and Lauren Romero, And Johnathon Martinez. It would be nice if you knew which you would like to do. When you come to a choice let Mr.Kelly know.

Gilbert and I have made all the hubs for the omniwheels and jus need to make the support bars that attach to them. We will have all the parts cut by tommorow. We need ask our selves wether or not we r going to weld it together or use bolts. After we get the hubs on thier we can drill holes and cut the axels, then once the omniwheels arive, the drive train will be complete and i will focus on the electronics. The chassis will be complete b4 the omniwheels arrive. We will try to wieght it tommorow aswell.

Let's see we got the new controller attached to our test setup. The combined code (Encoder, Gyro and Camera) compiled, downloaded and ran without any problems with the new controller.

We are now ready to start developing the actual code for driving the robot. The wheels are due in on Friday. We need to have code that could reasonably be expected to move the robot around the playfield on Saturday. So, finally, we will be digging into the code Saturday AM.

We will need to get a projector setup, the laptop connected, the test platform setup and all set for coding as soon as possible. After we get code that we think will work well, we will take the stuff downstairs and upload it to the robot and give it the first test.

We should document the test with pictures and this may be a good time for the web team to be present as it represents a kind of milestone.
